All submissions must adhere to the following criteria to be considered for publication:
- File Format: Article must be submitted in .doc or .docx form
- Word limit: the manuscript should be at most 4000 words/8 uninterrupted pages of content, excluding title, name, references, equations or figure labels
- Font:
- Manuscript must be in Times New Roman, 12-point
- Text within figures also must use Times New Roman
- References: Follow Nature’s citation style
- Numbered sequentially in the order they appear in the manuscript, each number correspond to a single unique reference,
- Cited references must be published articles or articles uploaded to a preprint server such as arXiv or bioRxiv,
- Thus, all references should include a link to the article DOI if available
- Use ISO 4 abbreviations for journal titles
- In-text citations:
- superscript numbers before any punctuation
- Numbers will be separated with commas if there are multiple citations for the same point
- If the citation is too close to a number in the text, put brackets around the citation numbers
- Author Listing:
- Surname, First-Name Initial
- If there are less than 5 authors, list all their names in the reference
- If more than 5 authors, list only the first author followed by “et al.”
